Aortic Valve Replacement Procedure - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing

Heart Surgery - Aortic Valve Replacement. Accurately depicts the open-heart surgical procedure used to place a St. Jude or Porcine replacement valve in the heart. The procedure starts with exposure of the heart through an incision in the chest. Two additional intra-operative views illustrate the removal of the diseased aortic valve and placement of the prosthetic valve.
