Kyphosis of the Back with Surgical Fusion and Placement of Hardware - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit features kyphosis of the spine at L1 and four key steps of the surgical spine fusion procedure. The injury is depicted with a kyphotic lateral spine and an enlarged sagittal view of the thoracolumber region from T12 to L2. The surgical steps include: A) right thoracotomy exposure of L1 vertebral body, B) L1 corpectomy and discectomies, C) drilling of adjacent endplates and placement of bone graft strut into vertebral space and E) placement of hardware fixation.

with the 'collapsed lung/fractured rib' illustrations. They were both

and he spent at least an hour explaining to the jury the anatomy of the
